Loch Etive Boat Fishing

10 off us met up at taynuilt slip for the day out on Etive. We sailed to our fishing spot at nine and was in the water for 9.10pm. There were lots off small spurs about I have never seen so many small ones about. The smallest one was the size of my hand. Anyway once you go by them some bigger one's had the chance to play.

Matt's mate got a nice spur at 7lbs 4ozs which gave him the lead in the sweep for the heaviest fish. Eddie was onto a nice ling at 5lbs 9ozs but 10 mins later Matt's mate pulled in a ling at 7lbs 4ozs that put him in the lead for both sweeps. Spurs about 4lb - 5lbs were now being caught along with some dogfish, whiting and pouting.

The day ended with David catching a 7lb 9oz spur to take the £25 sweep for the heaviest spur and Matt's mate taking the £25 sweep for any other heaviest fish with his 7lbs 4ozs ling. Well done guy's.

Till next times Guy;s
