Solway Outing

As Loch Etive only produced a couple of fish the last time Shane and myself was up it was time to go some where else. Our chosen venue was to try down the Solway, arriving at our mark around 3pm. First bite fell to myself with it resulting in a slack liner and the chance to land the first fish which fell to Shane after landing a small flounder.

I was next into some fish which resulted in landing 2 doggies. This was the norm for most off the day

We called it a day around 8pm and headed back up the road. The best fish fell to Shane a nice flounder of around 1 1/2lbs maybe heavier thus adding a few species to the species hunt.
